HACKENSACK, NEW JERSEY – April 18, 2016 – Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce the firm’s expansion into Florida with the arrival of Linda L. Snelling, Esq.  The new office in Boca Raton, which will be managed by Ms. Snelling, brings the firm a strategic local presence in a new market where its clients have existing business and personal interests.

“We are thrilled to tap into Linda’s legal prowess and knowledge of the Florida market, and are confident this milestone will benefit our existing clients while opening the firm up to new growth opportunities,” said Samuel Weiner, co-managing member of the firm and co-chair of the firm’s Tax, Trusts & Estates department. “We have a significant number of clients who split their time between the northeastern seaboard and Florida, and who will immediately benefit from this expansion.”

Ms. Snelling joins Cole Schotz from Sachs Sax Caplan, where she was a principal and chair of the Estate Planning & Probate practice group. She advises on probate and guardianship matters, including fiduciary, estate and trust disputes and taxation issues. Her experience ranges from advising on multimillion-dollar litigation to supervising and managing audits for Fortune 500 companies.

“Cole Schotz has earned a national reputation for its vibrant culture and exceptional client service,” said Ms. Snelling. “I was drawn to the firm’s national platform and look forward to working closely with my new colleagues to achieve results for clients inside and outside of Florida.”

In addition to estate planning, Ms. Snelling is well-versed in a wide range of taxation issues. She also brings experience as a certified public accountant at two of the country’s largest accounting firms, a substantial asset to her practice.

Ms. Snelling received her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law. She will be joined by associate, Tereina Stidd, a paralegal and an administrative assistant in the Florida office.  Ms. Stidd received her J.D. from Ohio Northern University and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.
