A native of Baltimore, Henry Dugan, Jr. received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Phi Beta Kappa from Catholic University in 1966 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Maryland in 1973.

Mr. Dugan has been lead trial counsel in obtaining many multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements in medical malpractice and product liability cases across the country. One of Mr. Dugan's closing arguments in a products liability case has been featured in the Million Dollar Arguments series. Mr. Dugan has been a speaker at both National and Local Trial Advocacy seminars.
Mr. Dugan's practice, which is nationwide, has a particular emphasis on protecting the rights of children injured as a result of birth trauma and related obstetrical malpractice. A recent case in Baltimore County resulted in a $13.1 million verdict for a mother misinformed about her placental abruption and the timing of a Caesarian Section. Due to oxygen deprivation, her son was born with quadriplegia and severe brain damage.
