- And speaking of family…
Well, former family anyway. In case you missed it, actress Ellen Barkin filed suit in Manhattan Supreme Court seeking an additional $3.4 million from ex-husband Ronald Perelman. Now, to be clear, Barkin got $40 million in her divorce from the billionaire last year - plus $21 million from auctioning off all the jewelry Perelman gave her during happier times. So she's not exactly hurting. But Barkin claims that Perelman agreed to pay the $3.4 million for a production company she formed with her brother George Barkin. A spokeswoman for Perelman told the NY Post's Page Six that there isn't any evidence the production company is producing anything. Appearing on the David Letterman show a few months ago, she called Perelman "Rumpelstiltskin." So much for the confidentiality/non-disparagement agreement.
