    They're dropping like flies. It looks like Steven Schulman, the former Milberg Weiss name partner, is on the verge of a plea deal that could mean jail time. Schulman, who was indicted last year, had been a tough nut to crack, filing detailed motions to dismiss the criminal charges. But Los Angeles federal judge John Walter largely denied the motions to dismiss, and that might have spurred Schulman to cut whatever deal he could. The news was first reported by the L.A. Daily Journal (no link) and picked up today by Law Blog.
