- ‘Lengthy and boring’
That's how Judge Dale Fischer summed things up this morning after jurors left the courtroom (it's an opinion shared by most everybody covering the trial). Earlier in the day, Jude Green, the former wife of the late investment banker Leonard Green, testified that Pellicano followed her to a dog grooming facility in Santa Monica and then to a Peet's Coffee & Tea, where he blocked her car with his Mercedes. Inside Peet's, he also supposedly started shoving her. "You shoved me with your folded little arms," Green testified. Asked by Pellicano what she did after that, Green said, "I turned around and said, 'Get the fuck away from me.' Remember that?" Pellicano said, "No Ma'am. I don't remember that." (I love the image of those “folded little arms.”) Green sued her husband for divorce in 2000, and her husband countersued for $25 million. (Variety, Huffington Post)
