Roxanne Conlin, who runs her own personal-injury and employment-law firm in Iowa, is a "great lawyer." Conlin has a long string of accomplishments, including a stint as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Iowa. She founded the Iowa Women's Political caucus in 1973, was the Democratic nominee for Iowa governor in 1982 and became the first woman president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America in 1992. Conlin won an $81 million jury verdict on behalf of her client Linda Channon in 1998 in a sexual-harassment case against UPS, although the verdict later was reduced and Channon has appealed. This attorney is a member of the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers.
