EDITORIAL REVIEW
Currently serving as co-counsel for Intel in the antitrust litigation brought against it by AMD, Richard Horwitz has been chair of his firm's litigation group for more than six years. With experience in both commercial and corporate litigation, Horwitz recently defended Monsanto and Broker Tec in separate patent litigation trials, both with successful outcomes for his clients. He also participated in a patent trial for Advanced Medical Optics, which obtained a ruling that trebled a damage award to more than $210 million. Horwitz also served as Delaware counsel for certain outside directors in the HealthSouth shareholder litigation. Other heavy-hitting clients include DuPont and Pfizer.
