Allan F. Davis is a partner with Robinson, Calcagnie and Robinson. He attended the University of Wyoming where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 1976, and his Juris Doctor in 1982. In 1980 he was awarded the Paul Stock Law Scholarship. He has been a member of the firm since 1988.
Mr. Davis' fields of emphasis are road design, product liability, and construction accident litigation and he has litigated a significant number of public entity liability cases involving dangerous roadways. Additionally, his background in medical sciences has facilitated his handling of litigation dealing with medical products and procedures, including defective human vaccines, such as DPT and diet drugs.
In 1997 Mr. Davis was co-counsel in a trial in U.S. District Court in Orange County involving a young boy who suffered brain damage in an accident caused by a jeep with defective brakes, which resulted in a judgment of $6.75 million. In 1988 Mr. Davis and his co-counsel obtained a $1.8 million jury verdict in Riverside Superior Court for a man who was injured by a defective electric forklift. His experience in litigation involving defective products, dangerous roadways, construction defects and negligence, has resulted in numerous multi-million dollar recoveries for the firm's clients.
Mr. Davis serves on the board of directors of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association and the Executive Committee of the Republican Trial Lawyers Caucus. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, the Republican Trial Lawyers Caucusand the Orange County Bar Association.
