Mr. Andersen is a trial lawyer whose practice emphasis is tort and business litigation, including products liability, professional negligence, personal injury, and all types of commercial litigation. Mr. Andersen has tried cases involving insurance disputes, partnership dissolution claims by and against banks, patent and intellectual property claims, as well as all types of automobile, medical malpractice, and product defect cases. He has also tried cases involving governmental liability, aviation, agriculture, farming, and construction.

Mr. Andersen is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts for Idaho. He has argued numerous appeals before the Idaho appellate courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Andersen has been in private practice since 1982 and a partner with Holland & Hart since 1987.
