Glenn S. Gerstell is the managing partner of Milbank’s Washington, D.C. office, and heads the firm’s global communications practice. He is also active in infrastructure development, insolvencies and mergers and acquisitions in various industries.
A partner since 1985, he has served in the firm’s New York (1976-80), Washington (1980-88), Singapore (1988-89) and Hong Kong (1989-96) offices.
A frequent speaker at legal and business conferences, he is listed in the current editions of Chambers Global The World’s Leading Lawyers, Euromoney’s Guide to the World’s Leading Telecommunications Lawyers and other leading attorney guides. He is the General Editor and principal author of Telecoms Project Documentation, recently published by Euromoney Books. He served as Adjunct Professor of Law for several years at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law.
Mr. Gerstell also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, an independent government agency that provides fresh water and wastewater services to the two million residents of the national capital region.
