EDITORIAL REVIEW
Baldwin is the lawyer other lawyers turn to when they’re in trouble - not
to mention health care providers, accountants, and litigants with catastrophic
losses or serious insurance coverage issues.
—2008 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America
This transplanted Texan started his career in personal-injury defense, then went on to handle over 100 professional liability, products liability, catastrophic injury, and commercial trials.

EXPERIENCE
Mr. Baldwin, a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, has over 25 years experience as a civil trial lawyer,
including professional liability, products liability, all phases of catastrophic injury work, and complex civil litigation,
having concluded well over 100 jury trials and appeals. Although he has spent a significant portion of his career on the
opposite side of the table from the Plaintiff's personal injury bar, he has been selected by every accomplished Plaintiff's
firm in the area to represent them when they have been sued by their clients.
Throughout his career, Mr. Baldwin has represented professionals in negligence claims, the greatest number being health care
providers and institutions in medical malpractice claims. Beyond his products liability and catastrophic injury work, his
representation has included commercial and estate litigation.
Mr. Baldwin is a frequent lecturer and author. He has authored articles on trial techniques, the substantive law of personal
injury, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, legal ethics, and practice pointers for "defensive" lawyering. He is a
frequent speaker at CLE programs and seminars sponsored by various law schools, bar associations, medical organizations,
hospitals, and insurance organizations throughout Missouri and the Midwest. The topics have covered a wide variety of
subjects including all aspects of trial preparation and trial techniques; medical malpractice and prevention; legal
malpractice and prevention; legal ethics; tort law; and insurance law.
