Mr. Dalgleish has tried numerous jury cases, and argued appellate cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Seventh Circuits, the Court of Appeals for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the Third Circuit of Louisiana and the Missouri Supreme Court. His experience includes:
• Lead trial counsel in successful defense of breach of coal supply utility contract lawsuit involving hundreds of millions dollars of damages
• Successfully represented major landowners in defense against claim by Indian Tribe under ancient treaties to reclaim major portion of modern day Kansas City, Kansas
• National counsel in multidistrict litigation and class actions involving fiber optic right of way litigation
• Successful counsel for client in major arbitration involving intermodal rail and trucking issues
• Successfully obtained summary judgment for national manufacturer in structural engineering case after major storage facility collapsed
• Obtained defense verdicts in multiple personal injury FELA lawsuits
• Obtained millions of dollars in settlements in plaintiff personal injury litigation involving wrongful death, negligence, product liability and breach of contract claims
• Counsel for major Internet provider in novel copyright and discovery litigation
• Litigated and handled seminal Missouri Supreme Court O'Malley case establishing work product opinion protection
• Successful representation in complex commercial arbitration involving master revenue apportionment contract.
