Chilton Varner has more than 25 years of courtroom experience defending corporations in product liability, business torts, contracts and other commercial disputes. Known as a "top-notch woman litigator," Varner represents some of the country's largest automotive, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. She is lead trial counsel in product liability litigation involving GlaxoSmithKline's antidepressant Paxil and was a member of 3M's national trial team for breast-implant suits. One of the first women in Georgia elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers, Varner was appointed by Chief Justice William Rehnquist to the Federal Rules Advisory Committee.
