As one of southern California's most experienced and savvy real estate and business lawyers, senior partner Roger Howard

Mr. Howard’s transactional real estate practice is focused on restructuring, workouts, title issues, acquisitions and
leasing. Mr. Howard initially specialized his real estate practice in the area of condominium development, becoming a
recognized expert on issues between residential developers, lenders, government entities, purchasers, and insurers. His
practice expanded to include purchases, sales, and leases of large commercial properties. Mr. Howard's extensive knowledge
of high-stakes real estate issues has led some of the country's largest title insurance companies to seek out his knowledge
and expertise to help them resolve complex title insurance issues on their highest-priority claims.
Mr. Howard's corporate and business work is in the area of mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate restructuring.
Mr. Howard’s clients include real estate developers, lenders and title companies on large residential and commercial
projects. He also works with numerous national and local manufacturing companies, financial institutions, entertainment
production studios, worldwide importers, REITs, real estate developers, and foreign entities.
Mr. Howard received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received recognition
as the outstanding graduating senior. He received his Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law.
Additionally, Mr. Howard is a frequent lecturer on real estate, business and corporate issues, and has lectured before such
organizations as the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Fidelity National Financial and Chicago Title Insurance Company,
several UCLA Extension Programs, and California CEB.
Mr. Howard has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers and Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel edition. He was also a
recipient of the 2010 humanitarian award from the Los Angeles Tower Cancer Research Foundation.

Successfully representing financial institutions and/or developing distressed real estate property throughout the
United States, resulting in multi-million/billion dollar turnarounds.
Restructuring of the historical landmark, The Mission Inn (Riverside, California), for a major financial institution
resulting in the preservation of the hotel.
Representing the recent sale of the largest U.S. medical uniform manufacturer, and the sale of the largest U.S. direct
sales organization.
