Mr. Michael Penn obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations, graduating with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1998. He studied abroad at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, during his junior year. Mr. Penn obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Chapman University School of Law in 2004, and was elected student commencement speaker by his classmates.
 
In May 2003, Michael began working at Aitken Aitken & Cohn as a law clerk. After passing the July bar exam in 2004, he was promoted to an associate at Aitken Aitken & Cohn. He specializes in litigation with an emphasis in wrongful death, products liability, and business torts.
 
Mr. Penn serves on the Board of Governors of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, Orange County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Orange County Hispanic Bar Association, Orange County Women Lawyers Association, Celtic Bar Association, and the Warren J. Ferguson Inn of Court.
 
Michael Penn is a life-long resident of Orange County. He graduated from Foothill High School in Tustin. Currently, he resides with his wife, Ashleigh, in Anaheim Hills, California.
