Best moment of career:
Settling the Globalstar securities fraud case near the end of the trial, virtually on the eve of going to the jury.

Worst moment of career:
Losing a motion for directed verdict and ultimately an appeal on a major securities case in the late 1990s, which definitely should have gone to the jury.

Attorney you most admire:
My Partner Michael Hausfeld, who has been a visionary in the area of human rights, civil rights, and antitrust/competition law, both in the U.S. and now in Europe.

Favorite activities (besides the Law):
Basketball (NBA and College), having played freshman and junior varsity basketball at the University of Pennsylvania.
