Best moment of career:
Two things: my involvement on behalf of the technology company community in efforts to enact the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995; and the publication by Practicing Law Institute in 2006 of the leading treatise on securities litigation, for which I serve as managing editor.
 
Worst moment of career:
Having my twin boys born in the middle of a two-month jury trial; the judge gave me half a day off.
 
Attorney you most admire:
My original mentor when I was a young litigation associate-- Doug Schwab of the Heller, Ehrman firm. He taught me the nuts and bolts of the securities markets.
 
Favorite activities (besides the Law):
Reading great American fiction; Broadway theatre; cycling.
