Nortel Securities Litigation (2006). Recoveries of $1.3 billion (part of a $2.7 billion global settlement).

HealthSouth Bondholder Litigation (2006). Partial settlements of $445 million.

Refco, Inc. Securities Litigation (2006). Partial recoveries of over $140 million, including payments from Austrian Bank BAWAG.

BFA Liquidation Trust v. Arthur Andersen, LLP (2002). $217 million recovery from Arthur Andersen for its role in the largest non-profit bankruptcy in United States history, after two years of litigation and one week of trial.

First guilty verdict as Assistant U.S. Attorney (in my second criminal trial, after an acquittal in my first).
 
Worst moment of career:
Having Omnicom case dismissed on summary judgment on loss causation grounds just before trial - but we are bullish on the appeal.
 
Attorney you most admire:
Associate Justice John Paul Stevens. As shown in Bush v. Gore, Stoneridge, and elsewhere, he is the conscience of the Supreme Court.
 
Favorite activities (besides the Law):
Fly fishing in Idaho and playing guitar
