| After serving as the first president of the Legal Marketing Association, I was approached by law firms to provide consulting services. I left my law firm and set up shop in 1987. |

| They challenge you, they're smart, they (by and large) want to know more about marketing and how to do it effectively, they appreciate people who appreciate their contributions. I love it. |

| Hurry up and wait. |

| What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far? |
| Only because it's so recent, but coaching a partner who was able to bring in a substantial client and double his book of business. |
