Consulting services you provide:
Trial consultant: witness preparation, case strategy, reworking opening/closing statements, focus groups

How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)?
Well before trial consulting was an established profession, I became known as "the shrink [psychologist] who's an acting coach" and as such, people would seek me out. One of those was a lawyer, who despite my complete ignorance of law, chose to consult with me to improve his trial results. It worked! In the process I became an avid student of the courtroom. Word of mouth did the rest.

What is the best thing about working with lawyers?
They are fun to work with - bright, dedicated passionate individuals who demand the best on behalf of their clients.

What is the worst thing about working with lawyers?
Scheduling! Their trial calendars are in constant flux.

What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far?
The last time a lawyer told me a witness I helped prepare did well, the focus group analysis was instrumental in designing a winning approach, the opening/closing statement rewrites were invaluable - those are the most satisfying moments of my career.

What are your favorite activities outside the law?
Travel, snorkeling, hiking, writing anything (scripts, books, postcards, recipes), reading historical novels and courtroom dramas (!)
