Consulting services you provide:
public relations and crisis communications support for nearly every aspect of work that attorneys would be involved in, including litigation of all sorts, corporate control issues, white collar criminal cases, environmental matters, employment issues and corporate reorganizations - to name just a few.

How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)?
I founded the firm 20 years ago after serving as a senior corporate executive for more than a decade. Our first cases were helping Roy Disney and Stanley Gold in their takeover attempt of Polaroid and the management of Public Service of New Hampshire handle their Chapter 11 reorganization.

What is the best thing about working with lawyers?
The strategic way they approach problems, issues and opportunities == at least this holds true for the good ones.

What is the worst thing about working with lawyers?
There are generally two types of lawyers: those who tell you why you can't do something and those who tell you how you can do something. While there are always situations where you can't and shouldn't take action, lawyers who take this approach with every aspect of communications and media interface may find that they win in the court of law but bankrupt their client irreparably in the court of public opinion. It needn't be mutually exclusive.

What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far?
There have been a number of them: the outcome of Roy Disney's withhold contest against Michael Eisner, the State of California dropping all charges against Patricia Dunn, the chairman of H-P; the successful launch of a drug which we believe is revolutionizing the treatment of breast cancer -- to name just a few.

What are your favorite activities outside the law?
Spending time with my family.
