| Cornerstone Reseach has the following Practice Areas: Accounting; Antitrust; Energy; Financial Institutions; Intellectual Property; Securities; and Valuation. I have worked in all of these practices, but recently I have focused on Securities (including Mergers and Acquisitions) and Valuation. I have also worked on settlement mediations and assisted Boards of Directors in assessing settlement risk. |

| How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)? |
| As a Management Consultant with my former firm I worked with Business School faculty. They sometimes were contacted about being expert witnesses and they would turn to us for assistance in conducting the research for the case. As this became a full-time endeavor, we set up Cornerstone Research, which we grew to what it is today. I stepped aside as CEO in 2007. |

| What is the best thing about working with lawyers? |
| I enjoy working with lawyers because they are smart and articulate. I also appreciate that my clients bring us cases with very interesting issues, and that we have fun working together. |

| What is the worst thing about working with lawyers? |
| There is nothing bad about working with lawyers themselves, but the nature of the work, especially when in "crisis mode", can sometimes be tense. |

| What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far? |
| I am very fortunate to have had so many great moments in my career, but the most satisfying was when I stepped aside to let my partner, Cindy Zollinger, take over leadership of the firm in 2007. At that time I felt that I had accomplished all the goals that I had set forth and that the firm was very healthy and in very good hands. It is very satisfying to have built a place where people can come to build their careers and their families. |

| What are your favorite activities outside the law? |
| It was only after having shoulder surgery recently that I realized how active a life I lead, as I was missing golf, kickboxing, scuba and other water sports, sporting clays, and hunting and shooting. I also have a private pilot's license (ASMEL and instrument rated). |
