| Consulting services you provide: |
| I help law firms win new clients to grow their most profitable practices and build sophisticated competitive intelligence programs to support their growth. Since 1998 when I became a consultant, I've helped firms win over $500 million in new business -
through RFP competitions, informal competitions, and proactive business development initiatives.

| How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)? |
| Helping firms find and win profitable new client relationships is what I'm very good at and love doing. Even when I was in-house, this is what I loved most. Ten years later, I still get to focus on my specialty full-time, but don't have to deal with those other "marketing things."

| What is the best thing about working with lawyers? |
| I like that lawyers are smart, work hard, and enjoy arguing. But what I like most is that they want to win!
|
| |
| What is the worst thing about working with lawyers? |
| Most of the partners I work with have so many client demands that it's a challenge to get them to focus on anything else.
|
| |
| What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far? |
| Helping a law firm win tens and tens and tens of millions of dollars of new business through one RFP competition.
|
| |
| What are your favorite activities outside the law? |
| Hanging with my husband, Del, and our Irish Wolfhound, Darby. Drinking great wines. Gardening. Being in New Zealand. Writing and reading poetry.
