| How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)? |
| I practiced law with Paul Hastings for four years before leaving law practice and going into legal search. I was attracted to the profession by the opportunity to provide much-needed counsel lawyers as they consider critical career choices. |

| What is the best thing about working with lawyers? |
| My law firm partner clients are generally smart, interesting, driven professionals. They tend to appreciate the serious, professional approach I take to my representations. They learn quite a bit from me about the legal marketplace, but I also learn a lot from them about their particular area of practice, their approaches to business development, etc. All in all, the relationships I develop with my law firm partner clients tend to be very mutually satisfying. |

| What is the worst thing about working with lawyers? |
| They are demanding clients. I generally like that, but I can't say this tendency hasn't lead to some challenging moments. |

| What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far? |
| Helping conceptualize and then being asked to lead our firm's dedicated Partner Practice Group, which now includes more than 40 extremely talented professionals worldwide who, like me, focus exclusively on law firm partner and group transactions. |

| What are your favorite activities outside the law? |
| Playing a wide variety of sports, as well as camping, with my fantastic wife and twin 10 year old boys. |
