How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)?
I realized more than 10 years ago that my contribution to the profession is in helping law firms organize themselves rather than practicing law.

What is the best thing about working with lawyers?
The challenge of working through multiple conflicting, passionate, and well-articulated viewpoints on almost all significant issues.

What is the worst thing about working with lawyers?
Same answer.

What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far?
Watching a fractured group of partners become a community with a common purpose.

What are your favorite activities outside the law?
Coaching youth sports; surfing
