| How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)? |
| Having owned both manufacturing businesses, and operating my own law practice, a mid-sized law firm asked me to become their chief operating officer. This showed me that I could marry my love of the law with my love of business. Because the law firm refused to deal with the generation differences in the firm, I recommended the elimination of my position and then started my own consultancy in 1990 with the intent to offer my knowledge to more than just one law firm. |

| Lawyers are among the smartest people I know ... and it's fun working with them. |

| What is the worst thing about working with lawyers? |
| Lawyers are among the smartest people I know ... and because of that they believe that they can ... and should ... do everything themselves. They fail to fully engage the principles of delegation. |

| What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far? |
| Every day is satisfying for me ... because I'm able to receive immediate feedback about the value of what the lawyer (my coaching client) takes away from each of our sessions. Of particular gratification is when the lawyer tells me how much increased revenue or profits he/she has achieved as a result of our sessions or how much less stress he/she is experiencing because of our partnership. |

| What are your favorite activities outside the law? |
| My avocation/favorite activity is cycling; seeing a good play; and traveling in our Airstream trailer. |
