| How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)? |
| I transitioned from law practice to legal marketing after nine years working as an attorney with the Thompson Hine firm. I have never, ever regretted that move and I am grateful to my friends at Thompson Hine for giving me that opportunity. |

| What is the best thing about working with lawyers? |
| They are intelligent and motivated to succeed. I love it when the proverbial light goes on, and one of our attorney client gets it that the strategy he/she focuses on substantive issues can also be applied to business and career development. |

| What is the worst thing about working with lawyers? |
| The billable hour system that keeps so many of them from important business and professional development activities. My hope is that Gen Y attorneys with their tremendous ingenuity and tech savvy will come up with a workable alternative to the archaic system we've been tied to for too long. |

| What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far? |
| My nine-year old daughter finds joy in every day and one of her signature statements is "this is my best day ever!" I find I have a lot of those too in my training and coaching work. One of my "best days ever" stands out as the time I presented a professional development training session to a group of 200 women health care professionals. Looking out at the group from the podium I saw women of all stages of experience, diverse, energized, focused on making a difference every day. We made a fantastic connection that day. | What are your favorite activities outside the law? |
| Being with my husband, my two daughters and our dog, Audrey, either at the beach or in the mountains. I also am a fanatic about political news; I watch two or three "talking head" shows daily. |
