| At Kinney, we provide career consulting services for major law firm attorneys, at both the associate and partner level. Further, we provide recruiting and consulting services to major law firms and companies, with regards to their recruitment of attorneys. My focus is on the Asia markets, but I also am very involved in New York, Dubai and Moscow. |

| How did you come to hold your present position (specifically, what led you to become a legal recruiter, marketing consultant, etc.)? |
| After receiving my JD at Boston University, I entered the legal profession as an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft's New York offices. While there, I was recruited to become an attorney recruiter by one of the major national attorney recruiting firms. Subsequently, after a stint as general counsel and vice president at an international manufacturing company, I joined Kinney Recruiting, where I have for two years run our Hong Kong and New York offices. I find Kinney to be the perfect fit for me because Robert Kinney and I share the same goals and core beliefs in how to run and grow an international attorney recruiting company, and most importantly how to serve our clients at the highest of standards. |

| What is the best thing about working with lawyers? |
| I enjoy working with people who are intelligent, hard working and career driven. It is a great feeling to know that such people rely on me every day for career advice and also to help build their practice and law firm. As a former big law associate and because I am entrepreneurial and very driven, I believe I relate well with my clients. |

| What is the worst thing about working with lawyers? |
| Although I have from time to time worked with an attorney client who is not the most pleasant person around, I can't say that there is one aspect of working with lawyers that for me is per se a negative. |

| What has been the most satisfying moment of your career thus far? |
| I don't think I can point to one event, or one particular attorney placement or attorney group placement, but when I realized that my team at Kinney is going to make 50 or more US attorney placements in Asia on an annual basis, it was a very satisfying moment for me. Needless to say, a tremendous amount of effort, and also some risk, went into our breaking into the Asia markets over the past few years. |

| What are your favorite activities outside the law? |
| I am very fortunate in that my work allows me to travel the world. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Tatiana, in Hong Kong / China, Dubai, and Eastern Europe, places that we travel several times each per year. Our main home is in Miami, where we enjoy relaxing on the beach and being a short trip away from Florida Gators football games. |
