THE LAWDRAGON 500
Each year, we publish The Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America – the most elite guide in the legal profession. The Lawdragon 500 is always presented in print and in digital-magazine format in our highly-acclaimed magazine.
Note on Methodology: The leading lawyer guides are selected from a combination of editorial research by Lawdragon staff; submissions from law firms; and an online ballot that allows visitors to our site to vote for and comment on their favorite lawyers. Our own editorial research is the most important factor in the selection process, but firm submissions and online voting are both extremely helpful.
Readers can vote using our online form, or submissions can be sent at any time to nominations@lawdragon.com.
We also review evaluations of attorneys that come in through our evaluation system open year round.
The 2012 Lawdragon 500 was published online on Dec. 31.

What to send for submissions: Some firms only provide us with names to consider; other firms prefer to send supporting information for each lawyer, which typically is about a paragraph or two of accomplishments with an emphasis on recent legal matters from the past year. Supporting information is helpful.
Firms that send submissions by the Sept. 9 deadline will be able to provide updates from Sept. 10 up until the posting of the list.

The Guide to World-Class Employment Lawyers
Lawdragon also produces an annual guide to the nation’s most powerful employment lawyers that is produced with Human Resource Executive and is released in June each year. In 2012, we released the list as The Guide to World-Class Employment Lawyers.
The 2013 Guide to World-Class Employment Lawyers will be published in June online on Lawdragon.com and in Human Resource Executive Magazine.
Submissions for the 2014 guide will begin in December of 2013. The submissions period is typically open for about a month.
