(DALLAS and HOUSTON) December 23, 2013 -Six Locke Lord lawyers have been promoted to the Partnership level, effective Jan. 1, 2014, in the Firm’s Litigation, Corporate and Intellectual Property practice areas.

From the Dallas office:

Jason Marlin concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes and financial services litigation. He has represented financial services institutions in class action disputes, and regularly litigates consumer disputes involving consumer protection laws and consumer lending statues. He also has extensive experience litigating eminent domain matters and commercial lease disputes.

Jason Mueller concentrates his practice predominantly on intellectual property and advertising. He has handled litigation and transactional matters related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and unfair competition. His marketing and advertising experience includes handling sweepstakes, contests and raffle promotions, as well as advertising compliance and substantiation review.

Seth Roberts focuses on commercial litigation, acting as local counsel for matters in the Northern District of Texas. He has litigated cases involving antitrust, class action, employment, intellectual property, insurance and dispute resolution.

From the Houston office:

Gregory Heath concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on energy and oilfield services transactions. He also advises clients on general corporate matters, including governance issues, SEC and stock exchange compliance, and state law considerations.

Paul Kjelsberg dedicates much of his practice to representing corporate trust departments of banks. He also has experience with derivative products, including credit default swaps, interest rate swaps and equity derivatives, and has represented financial institutions with transactions that included offering of collateralized loan obligations, collateralized debt obligations and collateralized bond obligations.

Chris Verducci focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis in energy litigation, construction litigation, and maritime and insurance law.  He also has experience advising clients concerning construction contracts, including indemnity agreements, as well as concerning maritime statute and regulation issues and insurance coverage matters.
