WASHINGTON, D.C., December 1, 2015 - Cozen O’Connor is pleased to announce that Sean Riley has joined the firm as a member in the State Attorneys General Practice.  Riley, having previously served as Chief Deputy Attorney General in the Kentucky Attorney General’s office, will be resident in Cozen O’Connor’s Washington, D.C., office.

Since 2009, Riley has worked for the Kentucky Attorney General, most recently as Chief Deputy Attorney General. While there, he managed day-to-day operations across all civil and criminal divisions of the Office. Riley also initiated and advanced key litigation and policy efforts on behalf of the Attorney General. In 2010, he served as Finance Director for the Conway for Senate campaign. Prior to joining the Office of the Attorney General, he worked in the Government Investigations and White Collar Crime practice of Nixon Peabody.

A graduate of Columbia Law School, Riley has been honored as one of the Best LGBT Attorneys under 40 by the National LGBT Bar Association and as one of Louisville Business First’s 40 Under Forty.
