We’re delighted to announce the Lawdragon 500 Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyers.

This is our 13th guide to the nation’s top talent representing Corporate America defending wage and hour, discrimination and a host of other claims; advising on key matters from immigration to executive compensation and employee benefits; and handling union and other labor-management relation matters.

We selected these 500 lawyers from journalistic research, submissions by firms and clients and vetting by peers. They reflect the dominance of a handful of law firms who either specialize in employment or offer profoundly strong employment practices as part of a large global platform.

Keen observers may note the transition this lucky 13 denotes. After 12 years in which Lawdragon researched and selected these industry-leading guides, then published them in conjunction with Human Resource Executive as the nation’s “Most Powerful Employment Lawyers” we’ve made a change. And happily so.

The move to our esteemed Lawdragon 500 format allows recognition of a far greater range of talent geographically, generationally and inclusively. Each of those facets is a key component of Lawdragon’s mission and we think the results speak for themselves. We’d love your thoughts.

This year’s guide is 37 percent female and 16 percent inclusive; both are markers that can be improved and we urge readers to share with us lawyers whose recognition reflects the amazing diversity of talent in all its forms that we enjoy in the legal profession.

2020 has been a difficult year no matter what side of the workforce you are on. As with our prior guide to the nation’s top Plaintiff Employment lawyers, these are the lawyers working through a future on which the window will literally be open as to configurations – physical, social and hierarchical – in which we will work to produce, create and evolve.
