Alison Preece is Director of Rankings & Content at Lawdragon. She has been working as a strategic consultant to lawyers and firms for almost two decades, helping them tell their stories to the most important stakeholders.
Alison is a core member of the research team for the Lawdragon Guides, highlighting the work of the most elite lawyers and legal professionals in the nation and globally. She also oversees editorial content and assists in the strategic direction of the company. She is particularly interested in how the leadership of female lawyers is reshaping the profession, and enjoys speaking with the many incredible lawyers who wrangle with complex and relevant topics daily.
Alison previously managed strategic communications at Cravath, Boies Schiller Flexner, and Shearman & Sterling. She is adept at distilling legal jargon down to accessible, engaging copy, and she has a proven track record of positioning both major and minor legal decisions and corporate deals into the larger media landscape. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto.
