Bruce W. Bowman, Jr.

Bruce Bowman, Jr. has successfully handled litigation on both the plaintiff and defendant sides for many years, primarily in business disputes. His work has been as diverse as recovering assets from trusts in prolonged trust and-bankruptcy litigation to defending trade secret allegations concerning oil field technology in State and Federal courts. He has also successfully defended directors, lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals in many areas of business. In addition to trying hundreds of cases to verdict, Bruce has handled numerous arbitrations, mediations and appeals through the Texas Supreme Court, Federal Appeals Courts and to the U.S. Supreme Court.

• Represented major hospital in connection with qui tam litigation claims for wrongful termination and related matters
• Represented public company in trade secret trial involving a foreign oil field
• Represented companies in cases involving antitrust and unfair competition claims
• Handled multiple arbitrations involving both FINRA & AAA
• Lead attorney in estate & trust litigation, successfully recovering multi-millions of dollars for clients covering breaches of trust and over 20 related lawsuits and sustained appeal
• Successfully defended lawyer in 14-year malpractice suit involving alleged real estate and tax malpractice
• Representation of a company in contractual indemnity dispute – Cercla and environmental litigation
• Part of trial team in Deepwater Horizon Multi District Litigation – currently ongoing

• Successfully litigated standard for lawyer disqualification on suing former clients in Texas Supreme Court
• Defended banks in lender liability suit successfully through the Supreme Court of Texas
