Sharon Mahn, Esq. is an entrepreneur, advocate, philanthropist, author, speaker and former trial lawyer. Mahn founded and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mahn Consulting, LLC, a top domestic and international executive and legal search and consulting company based in Manhattan. She is a Board member on various corporate and not-for-profit boards. She was previously the Global Head of Law Firm Recruiting at two prior premier executive search companies, in both London and New York City. She also practiced law as a litigator at several highly ranked New York City law firms.
Lawdragon listed Mahn as one of the top 100 legal consultants in the world. She earned the distinguished Brava Award from SmartCEO, was named one of the twenty-five Leading Women Entrepreneurs in the New York City area by Leading Women Entrepreneurs, and was recognized as a Top Fifty Business Woman by NJBIZ. She is published and often quoted for her expertise in major periodicals such as Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, The National Law Review, Business Insider and The American Lawyer. She appeared on television programs (CNN, Fox News, etc.) for her business expertise, dozens of professional podcasts and she is often a panel speaker at industry events worldwide. Most recently, she co-anchors *The Exchange Briefing*, filmed at the New York Stock Exchange floor with veteran journalist Jane King, discussing the intersection of law, business and technology. Additionally, she has been a guest professor at New York University's Graduate School of Professional Studies for over seventeen years and wrote a column about legal industry trends for the New York Law Journal.

In philanthropic endeavors, Mahn serves on the board of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, as well as the Louis Armstrong Mount Sinai Hospital Music and Medicine Steering committee (where she was also honored as a philanthropist.) She was named a "Woman of Influence" by the prestigious New York City chapter of the TJ Martell Foundation, as well as serving two years in row as the Gala Chair of the Jessie Banks Foundation. The Robin Hood Foundation previously placed her on the Board of the New York City chapter of Advocates for Children.
Mahn has run over fifty marathons and half marathons domestically and internationally for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Jude's Hospital and other causes supporting children and cancer research. Most recently, she earned the highly coveted Abbott Marathon medal by running all of the marathons in addition to raising money on behalf of various charities.
Mahn is a graduate of Western Michigan Law School, cum laude, where she was Senior Associate Editor of the Law Review, a three-year recipient of Academic and Merit Scholarships, and a Recipient of Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation Awards for Outstanding Women Law Students. She is a graduate at Muhlenberg College, where she formerly held a Board of Trustees position. She was a former member of the school Alumni Board and the co-chair of her class fundraising committee. She donated a financial scholarship to her alma mater in honor of her father and in memory of her mother, to support current students majoring in the sciences and pre-medicine.
A travel enthusiast, Mahn has visited over seventy countries and forty-eight states, with plans to see the last two states. New York City is still her favorite place; she has worked and lived there for over twenty years in downtown Battery Park City. She enjoys spending time there with her family, friends, and everyone who comes to stay with her in Manhattan!
