Liza Camellerie has focused on family and matrimonial law for almost 20 years. Her extensive practice includes complex custody matters, child and spousal support, paternity, equitable distribution, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and appellate practice.

Camellerie is also one of the leading practitioners handling child abuse and neglect matters in New York. She is certified by the First Judicial Department to represent children in custody and visitation disputes in Manhattan Family Court and Manhattan Supreme Court. Prior to joining AMS, Camellerie served at a boutique matrimonial firm representing high net-worth clients. She also served as both a supervising attorney with New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services and a member of the Manhattan Family Court Panel. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association Family Court and Family Law Committee, the New York Women’s Bar Association Matrimonial Committee and Children’s Rights Committee, the New York State Bar Association’s Family Law Section, the New York State Women’s Bar Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
Camellerie earned her Juris Doctorate at the Syracuse University College of Law, as well as a Master in Public Administration at the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. She graduated with honors from Boston University.
Camellerie lives with her son, Will, on Long Island.
