A trial lawyer with a background in economics, Madison Young Moore is a systematic problem solver who recognizes the significance of advocating with clarity and concision.

With each new case presenting a unique set of challenges, Young Moore is skilled in analyzing complex legal puzzles through meticulous work and precision. Her practice encompasses a breadth of matters, serving clients of all sizes, from individuals to multinational corporations. From favorable settlements to trial verdicts, Young Moore has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial disputes, securities class action litigation, fiduciary matters, and property disputes, among others. She has experience in representing technology companies, utility providers, manufacturers, and has a growing portfolio of clients in the energy sector. Young Moore’s expertise in oil and gas extends to energy contract disputes, royalty litigation, crude trading matters, and misrepresentations related to sale and purchase agreements.

Beyond her legal practice, Young Moore is committed to community service and leadership. She is a member of the Institute for Energy Law’s 7th Leadership Class, serves as an Ambassador for Houston Haven, a volunteer with Agape Development, and contributes as a member of the UT Law Young Alumni Committee. Prior to joining Beck Redden, Young Moore clerked for the Honorable Ed Kinkeade of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. During law school, she gained valuable appellate experience as an intern for Texas Supreme Court Justice Jimmy Blacklock.

Representative Experience

  • In 2024, along with partner Fields Alexander and associate Jake McClellan, prevailed in a two-week breach of contract jury trial. Beck Redden’s client entered into a three-year contract, which the defendant terminated several months into the relationship. Beck Redden brought suit alleging that the termination had been wrongful, and seeking the recovery of the profits its client would have earned over the life of the contract. The jury sided with Beck Redden on all issues, awarding over $15,000,000 in lost profits. With interest and attorneys’ fees, the judgment in favor of Beck Redden’s client exceeds $26,000,000.
  • Represented a nationwide company in a breach of contract case, handled pre-trial preparations, argued pre-trial motion, and performed witness examination for the client.
  • Represented a private equity company in a products liability case and obtained summary judgment on affirmative defenses disposing of all claims against the client.
  • Represented the class plaintiffs in a billion-dollar securities fraud class action with David J. Beck, Fields Alexander, and Garrett Brawley, handled pre-trial matters, and argued pre-trial motions that led to a favorable settlement for the class on the eve of trial.
  • Represented an energy company on the plaintiff side in a breach of contract case and presented the opening statement at trial.
  • Represented a grocery company in a personal injury case, conducted numerous deposition of fact and expert witnesses, managed pre-trial matters, and secured a settlement for the client on the eve of trial.
  • Represented property owners in restrictive covenant dispute, successfully obtained a temporary restraining order and temporary injunction, and secured a favorable settlement.
  • Represented property owners and developers in a restrictive covenant dispute, winning a temporary restraining order, temporary injunction, and favorable summary judgment ruling that led to a favorable settlement for the clients.
  • Represented property developer in restrictive covenant dispute and drafted a motion for summary judgment that led to the withdrawal of claims against the client.
  • Represented a member of an LLC in a breach of fiduciary duties case that led to a favorable settlement for the client.
