Lauren Goldman is an experienced litigator with success handling cases at every stage, including trial. Most recently, Goldman played a critical role in obtaining a $39 million jury verdict on behalf of a major shareholder in a breach of contract action against the former executive chairman of a public company. She is also well-versed in handling cases that come to the firm during fact or expert discovery, levering her detail-oriented nature to provide clients with the most effective and strategic process to reach the best resolution. Goldman also devotes time to pro bono matters, including drafting amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court, and recently achieving a favorable settlement against the City of New York on behalf of a mother whose child was wrongfully removed and placed in foster care for six months.
Goldman joined the firm following her two-year clerkship for the Hon. Amy Berman Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to her clerkship, Goldman was an associate in Los Angeles at a major law firm, where her practice primarily focused on employment litigation.
