- Representing defendants in many of the leading Helms-Burton actions, including some of the first-ever filed under the statute, with multiple cases successfully resolved at the trial-court level and in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals
- Representing a leading home-mortgage subservicer in a three-week federal jury trial, resulting in a multimillion-dollar jury verdict for the client
- Successfully challenging an unconstitutional Texas law that blocked a client’s entry into a competitive market, resulting in a win at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals
- Defending several companies in a consumer-protection civil action brought by the Attorney General of Texas
- Successfully vacating a class action certification on appeal from a Florida state court action arising from Hurricane Irma
- Securing the dismissal of a class action in a 6 billion-dollar receivership case, and successfully defending that result in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals
- Representing a major energy company in multiple successful appeals to the Florida Supreme Court
