Mitchell W. Bild is a trial lawyer who practices in all areas of personal injury and wrongful death law who joined Corboy & Demetrio in 2022 as an Associate Attorney.
He's been selected to the Lawdragon 500 X - the Next Generation, a directory of the top 500 up-and-coming lawyers nationwide since 2023.
While attending Chicago-Kent College of Law, Bild worked as a Corboy & Demetrio law clerk for two years.
After he graduated from Chicago-Kent, Bild served as a Judicial Law Clerk assigned to the Cook County Circuit Court’s Law Division Motion Section from 2020-2022. There he drafted written orders and conducted legal research for various judges and supervised judicial externs.
Bild served as a Legal Intern in the Civil Litigation Clinic at the Law Offices of Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2018 where he conducted legal research and wrote legal memoranda regarding a variety of state and federal civil litigation matters, including appellate briefs, responses to motions, and pleadings.

He also served as Executive Articles Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review – Volume 95, and as Junior Editor – Volume 94. He was on the Dean’s List all three years and excelled in the law school’s Moot Court Honor Society, acquiring several awards for his writing and advocacy skills including the Ralph L. Brill Best Brief Award at the 2019 Ilana Diamond Rovner Moot Court Competition in Chicago.
In addition, after his first year of law school, Bild served as a Judicial Extern for U.S. District Judge Joe B. McDade, Central District of Illinois.
A 2017 graduate of Michigan State University, Bild obtained a B.A. in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy, serving as President of the Mock Trial Association and earning a spot on the Dean’s List in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Displaying impressive leadership and advocacy skills, Bild worked at Michigan State University’s Student Rights Advocates & Legal Services while an undergraduate for four years, serving as Director from 2016 to 2017 and Assistant Director the previous year. As Director, Bild oversaw a department of ten staff members that advised, assisted, and represented students in the university’s legal and judiciary proceedings. Additionally, he worked with university administration on behalf of the student body regarding policy reform, particularly with respect to Title IX policies and procedures.
Bild is dedicated to serving his community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the United Spinal Association's Illinois Chapter and on the Auxiliary Board of the Center for Conflict Resolution after previously serving as a Certified Mediator.
In 2024, the American Association for Justice appointed Bild to serve on its Law Schools Committee.
