Christopher Frost is FROST LLP’s founding and name partner.
A skilled courtroom advocate, Frost has served as lead counsel on matters valued in the billions of dollars, and has represented local, national, and international clients in more than 30 federal and state jurisdictions. Frost’s co-counsel and opposing counsel include many of the largest law firms in the world. He has also provided expert consultation on matters of American law in disputes in Ireland and Canada.
Starting with four lawyers in a Westwood office building in June 2023, Frost has grown FROST LLP into a powerhouse national presence; with offices in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, New York, Nashville, and Phoenix. In the process, Frost has built a disruptive law firm model and culture with FROST LLP that has been described by The Recorder as “Corporate Cobain.” The firm has been recognized for its work in general commercial litigation by Chambers and Partners.

Frost is also a sought-after legal writer whose publications have been cited by federal courts and leading state and federal legal treatises and publications. He contributes regularly to the “FROST Bytes” column in California’s Daily Journal.

Originally from Oklahoma, Frost holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Oklahoma and a J.D. from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. After law school he clerked for the Supreme Court of Texas. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, numerous federal courts, and has appeared before both the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit United States Court of Appeals.
