Steeves Hopson was born in Laredo and raised in San Antonio, Texas, by his mother alongside his two sisters. A proud graduate of Churchill High School, he earned his degree in Public Relations and Business Foundations from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law—continuing his family’s legacy in the legal profession.
Hopson began his legal career practicing employment law before serving as an Assistant District Attorney for the Webb-Zapata County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, he developed strong courtroom skills, trying a wide range of cases and later advocating for victims of child and sexual abuse in the Special Victims Unit.

Outside of the courtroom, Hopson enjoys spending time with his dog, Lobo, watching college football, attending live music events, and exploring new destinations.
