Francis P. McConville is a Partner in the New York office of Labaton Keller Sucharow LLP and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He focuses on prosecuting complex securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investor clients. As Chair of the Firm’s Case Evaluation Group, McConville leads the identification, investigation, and development of potential actions to recover investment losses caused by violations of the federal securities laws and to vindicate shareholder rights in response to corporate and fiduciary misconduct.

McConville has played a key role in filing several matters on behalf of the Firm, including Boston Retirement System v. Uber Technologies, Inc. ($200 million settlement); In re SCANA Securities Litigation ($192.5 million settlement); Boston Retirement System v. Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ($125 million settlement); In re Nielsen Holdings PLC Securities Litigation ($73 million settlement); In re The Boeing Company Securities Litigation; In re PG&E Corporation Securities Litigation; In re The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. Securities Litigation; Ohio Carpenters Pension Fund v. Norfolk Southern Corporation; and In re Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. Securities Litigation, among others.
Prior to joining Labaton Keller Sucharow, McConville was a Litigation Associate at a national law firm primarily focused on securities and consumer class action litigation. McConville has represented institutional and individual clients in federal and state courts across the country in class action securities litigation and shareholder disputes, along with a variety of commercial litigation matters. He assisted in the prosecution of several matters, including Kiken v. Lumber Liquidators Holdings, Inc. ($42 million recovery); Hayes v. MagnaChip Semiconductor Corp. ($23.5 million recovery); and In re Galena Biopharma, Inc. Securities Litigation ($20 million recovery).
McConville is an active member of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys (NAPPA). He has served on Law360’s Securities Editorial Advisory Board.
