Sam Maduegbuna litigates and fights for individuals and groups who have been victims of civil rights violations or denied their just rights in the workplace and in society. Maduegbuna has successfully tried cases on behalf of civil rights victims in federal and state courts obtaining significant jury verdicts and settlements.

He has argued critical motions and appeals Federal and New York Appellate courts, including conducting oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in a seminal decision finding that state common law torts arising from workplace drug testing was not blocked by Federal Regulations.

Maduegbuna spends time handling litigation matters free of charge for individuals or on a pro bono basis. His efforts on one such matter led a U.S. District Judge to note that he “has gone above and beyond the obligations of his initial appointment on his client’s behalf.
