Lauren Weinstein has deep experience representing clients on both sides of the “v.” in a broad range of business disputes in state and federal courts across the country. Weinstein has particular expertise in antitrust litigation. She was appointed as a Special State Attorney General to prosecute antitrust and consumer protection claims on behalf of 39 states in the In re Google Play Store Antitrust Litigation. That representation culminated in an historic $800 million settlement resolving claims by all 50 states and 3 territories against Google. She is currently part of the nationwide class leadership in a case in Chicago involving financial services. She also represented the nation's largest holding company for real estate brokerage brands in a bet-the-company antitrust class action in Kansas City. That representation resulted in a very favorable pretrial settlement avoiding the nearly $5 billion verdict the jury rendered against the remaining co-defendants.
Descended from Cuban and Jewish immigrants, Weinstein is deeply involved in MoloLamken’s diversity efforts. She was a Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and currently serves as MoloLamken’s Diversity Professional for the organization. She also mentors law students of color through The Appellate Project.
Weinstein is fluent in Spanish and French. She grew up speaking Spanish and regularly represents clients with significant operations in, or disputes arising from, Latin America and Spain.
