Kai Zeng is a partner in the Restructuring Department and Finance and Hybrid Capital & Special Situations groups at Paul, Weiss. Zeng has extensive experience in cross-border restructurings advising sponsors, debtors, creditors and strategic investors on restructurings of stressed and distressed businesses. He also advises investment banks, hedge funds and private equity houses in their review and diligence of European investment opportunities in par, stressed and distressed transactions.

Previously, Zeng served as Investment Director & Transaction Counsel at Blantyre Capital, a London-based investment firm, where he helped lead and manage restructuring processes and workouts of distressed situations, structured capital solutions, and analyse the legal risk on investments. He began his career as a restructuring associate, and later partner, at another leading law firm. More recently, Zeng has been named to Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Global Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers” list.
