Matthew B. Goldstein

A partner in the Paul Weiss Investment Funds Group, Matthew is Co-Head of North American Investment Funds. Goldstein focuses his practice on the formation and operation of a wide variety of private investment funds, including private equity funds, credit funds, infrastructure funds, hybrid funds and real estate funds. He also has significant experience in the formation of secondaries platforms and continuation vehicles, and he regularly represents private funds in connection with co-investments and direct investments in private equity, infrastructure, real estate and other transactions. Goldstein advises leading global investment firms in their investment management M&A and other strategic transactions, including acquisitions and strategic partnership arrangements. He has substantial experience in establishing customized private investment funds with respect to a range of U.S. and non-U.S. investors and advises on management company “upper tier” arrangements.
