Jane Paulson is passionate about trial law. While many attorneys shy away from litigation, Paulson is a Portland personal injury lawyer who relishes the chance to stand up for her clients in court. She represents people throughout Oregon and Washington who have been harmed by the negligence or legal fault of others, and she has won millions of dollars for her clients doing so.

Paulson has won several multi-million dollar settlements and results for clients. She represents individuals and families whose lives have been changed forever by the wrongs of others.

Paulson had the honor of serving on the Oregon Trial Lawyer's Association ("OTLA") Board 1995-2006, was one of Oregon's two American Trial Lawyer Association Delegates 2000-2004, and was President of OTLA 2004-2005. She is an Associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates (Vice President 2014-present) and became the Oregon Chapter's first woman President in 2015-2016.

Paulson was honored in 2012 by being invited to join the American College of Trial Lawyers and is one of five women in Oregon in the College. In 2012, Paulson and her father, Chuck, became one of the few father-daughter teams in the College. The College is a professional society of Fellows who become members only by invitation. The College looks for lawyers who are considered by other lawyers and judges to be the best in their states or provinces, lawyers whose ethical and moral standards are the highest, and lawyers who share the intangible quality of collegiality.

She was honored in 2015 with the Oregon Women Lawyers' Betty Roberts Award which recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to promoting women in the legal profession and in the community and in 2017 was awarded the Multnomah Bar Professionalism Award.

She is a member of the invitation only groups International Academy of Trial Lawyers and Summit Council.

Paulson is an advocate of giving back to her community and believes in spending as much time with her family as possible. She was on the local Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East Board for years and was a board member with the PSU Hatfield School of Government’s Center for Women’s Leadership and the Campaign for Equal Justice.

Paulson is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. She clerked for federal judge James M. Burns and worked for several years at a well-regarded defense firm. Her past work also includes serving on various local and state bar committees. Paulson also served as an adjunct professor of Advanced Trial Advocacy at Lewis and Clark Law School.

In her spare time, Paulson has become a diehard Pickleball fan and player.
