Erika Oliver is a partner in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s San Diego office. Before joining the Firm, Oliver served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia of the Southern District of California. At the Firm, her practice focuses on complex securities litigation. Most recently, Oliver and Luke Brooks defeated defendants’ motion to dismiss securities fraud claims arising from purchases on Israel’s Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in In re Teva Sec. Litig. (D. Conn.). Oliver was also a member of the litigation teams of Robbins Geller attorneys that successfully recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors in securities class actions, including Purple Mountain Trust v. Wells Fargo & Co. (N.D. Cal.) ($300 million recovery), Evanston Police Pension Fund v. McKesson Corp. (N.D. Cal.) ($141 million recovery), In re Novo Nordisk Sec. Litig. (D.N.J.) ($100 million recovery), Fleming v. Impax Labs. Inc. (N.D. Cal.) ($33 million recovery), and In re Banc of California Sec. Litig. (C.D. Cal.) ($19.75 million recovery).

Oliver has been named a Leading Litigator in America and a Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyer by Lawdragon, included in the 500 X - The Next Generation Lawdragon guide. Oliver earned her Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University, graduating cum laude, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was named to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Oliver worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable Gonzalo P. Curiel and the Honorable Michael M. Anello, both of the Southern District of California, and as a summer associate in the Firm’s San Diego office. Oliver also served as an Executive Editor for the San Diego Law Review and received CALI Awards for earning the highest grades in Federal Courts, Corporations, Advanced Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Lawyering Skills I. Upon graduation, Oliver was recognized for her pro bono work in the Appellate Clinic, through which she argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
