Scullion also was appointed in 2024 as Co-Chair of the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee for the Provider Track in the Change Healthcare Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, which consolidates nearly 50 class actions following a major cyber-security failure by Change Healthcare that disrupted healthcare claims and payment systems nationwide.
Scullion is a member of the working group in the In re: Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation that has briefed and argued multiple motions to dismiss and discovery disputes. She also is a member of the Law & Briefing Committee in the National Prescription Opioid Litigation MDL, in which she also worked closely with the Settlement Committee which has negotiated over $50 billion in settlements to address the opioid crisis. She also serves as liaison counsel in the Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. Securities Litigation, which led to a $1.2 billion settlement on behalf of investors. Scullion is an active member of the Committee to Support the Antitrust Laws, where she is Co-Chair of the State Attorneys General Outreach Committee and is a member of the Federal Rules and Executive Committees. Scullion also co-chairs the MDL and Class Procedures Practice Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Mass Tort Subcommittee. Jen speaks throughout the country on antitrust, complex litigation, multidistrict litigation, and discovery issues with organizations such as the American Bar Association, the American Antitrust Institute, the Sedona Conference, and the Law and Economic Center of the Antonin Scalia Law School. Jennifer is a member of Sedona Working Group 1 and the EDRM Advisory Council. A prolific author, Scullion publishes with Law360, the National Law Review, and contributed two chapters on international civil litigation to the American Bar Association’s ’s 2017 Deskbook “International Aspects of U.S. Litigation.”
With a passion for community involvement, Scullion established a fund at her alma mater, Boston University, to assist students with emergency financial needs. She also has been a Trustee for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and helped co-found the Three and a Half Acres Yoga Foundation in New York.
Prior to joining Seeger Weiss in 2016, Scullion was a litigation partner in the New York office of Proskauer Rose, following positions with Solomon, Zauderer, Ellenhorn, Frischer & Sharp (New York), and Munger, Tolles & Olson (Los Angeles). She served as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson, Central District of California.
